05/04 Climate Change & Health Symposium

Location: Brown University Medical Education Building (Alpert Medical School)

Time: 9:00am EDT

The Climate Change and Health Symposium aims to involve all members of the Brown University and greater Rhode Island community to better understand the impact of climate change on health and to educate and empower members of the community to take action.

Join us to learn from lecturers, panelists, workshops and poster presentations! Register and submit a poster on our website.

Objectives:

1. To raise awareness about the link between climate change and health
2. To provide a platform for experts from various fields to share their knowledge and research findings related to climate change and health
3. To explore potential solutions and strategies to mitigate the negative impacts of climate change on human health
4. To foster collaboration between stakeholders from different sectors, including medicine, public health and community health promotion, environmental science, and political advocacy
