Global Research Training
Brown University Center for Global Health Equity (CGHE), and its predecessors have been managing research and capacity training programs in low and middle income (LMIC) countries for 32 years. CGHE has led research training programs in Kenya, Cambodia, Ghana, India, Philippines, Brazil, Peru, and Ukraine.
Global Alliance for Infant and Maternal Health Research
Global AIM at Brown University is committed to improving the survival and well-being of mothers and infants through high-impact research, technological innovation, and transformative clinical care.
Civil-Military Humanitarian Coordination
The purpose of the program is for Humanitarian Military Support to break new ground within the humanitarian space, expanding upon the current evidence base for effective coordination during humanitarian emergencies, developing new avenues for information sharing between humanitarian, military and academic communities, and creating vibrant educational offerings for the multitude of actors who respond to crises.
Collaborative on Forced Migration and Health
By partnering with key organizations—including local refugee clinics, the Brown Human Rights Asylum Clinic, tribal leadership, Brown's Native American and Indigenous Studies Initiative, and the federal Indian Health Service—the program integrates patient-centered clinical care, interdisciplinary research, medical education, and evidence-driven policy advocacy to combat severe health inequalities, chronic illness and barriers to care.
