Newly Awarded - Building Capacity in HIV/TB and Mental Health in Ukraine's Humanitarian Crisis

Center for Global Health Equity Awarded Fogarty International Center Grant to Build HIV/TB and Mental Health Research Capacity in Ukraine

The Center for Global Health Equity is proud to announce a new grant from the Fogarty International Center titled, “Building Capacity in HIV/TB and Mental Health in Ukraine's Humanitarian Crisis."

This training grant will expand on the Center for Global Health Equity's existing Brown University Ukraine Collaboration by enhancing high priority research capacity aiming to improve equitable access to HIV care in humanitarian settings in Ukraine and globally. It will train researchers supporting high quality prevention and care across the HIV care continuum in conflict and post-conflict settings, including the care of persons coinfected with tuberculosis (TB) and other HIV comorbidities, such as substance use disorders (SUD) and mental health conditions.

The project will be led by Co-Principal Investigators, Dr. Adam Levine and Dr. Tim Flanigan.
