Odinaka Anyanwu, MD - Clinical Assistant Professor of Family Medicine, Center for Global Health Equity Affiliated Faculty, Assistant Director of the Global Health Faculty Development Fellowship, Global Health Advisory Committee Member, and Equity Sub-Committee Chair - is set to teach a course titled What the Health?! Exploring Global Health Inequities, as part of Brown University’s suite of Pre-College Programming in Summer of 2026.
The two-week course, co-developed by Dr. Anyanwu and CGHE staff member Megan Feragne, is now open for registration to high school students worldwide. The curriculum introduces students to the complexities of global health, providing a foundation for future collegiate studies in medicine, public policy, economics, and international development.
The launch comes at a critical time. In an era of global health uncertainty, the CGHE is doubling down on its mission to inspire and train the next generation of leaders. By engaging students early, the Center aims to secure a robust pipeline of researchers, educators, and practitioners dedicated to health equity for decades to come.
