Dr. Gore's connection to global health began in childhood, spent partly in India, and solidified during a high school medical immersion program volunteering at primary care clinics across the country, where she saw firsthand how culture and resources shape care. In medical school, she worked with the Rutgers Interdisciplinary Opioid Trainers on culturally sensitive conversations about working through addiction, and earned a Distinction in Medical Innovation and Entrepreneurship, co-founding PicClinic, a tool to bridge health literacy gaps between clinicians and patients. As an anesthesiology resident, she now leads a QI project at Women & Infants Hospital to strengthen emergency preparedness in the obstetric OR — work reflecting the same instinct behind her global health interests: building practical solutions where resources are limited. She hopes to extend this abroad through longitudinal partnerships, including the Brown Anesthesia department's annual trips to Rwanda, as she builds a career centered on innovation, collaboration, and sustainable care.
