Dr. Cho’s interest in global health is rooted in her experiences as an immigrant and her commitment to caring for underserved communities. During medical school, she pursued the Global Health Scholars Program and completed clinical experiences at Macha Hospital in Zambia, where she gained firsthand insight into healthcare delivery in resource-limited settings. These experiences shaped her commitment to health equity, medical education, and community-centered care. As she continues her training, Dr. Cho hopes to integrate her passion for global health with a career in critical and acute care medicine, with a focus on expanding access to timely, high-quality emergent care in resource-limited settings.
