Dr. Eustaquio is a first-generation Filipino American committed to health equity, mentorship, community service, and global health. Raised in a densely populated and underserved community in the Philippines, she witnessed firsthand the consequences of limited access to healthcare and began participating in medical missions at an early age. After immigrating to the United States in 2010, she continued working with diverse and underserved communities through free clinics, homeless shelters, and community service initiatives throughout New York City. During medical school, she founded the First-Generation and Low-Income in Medicine Association, creating unique mentorship opportunities and establishing a sustainable food pantry to address food insecurity within the community. Her experiences include advancing diversity in clinical research, running a free community clinic, and conducting medical evaluations and preparing court affidavit for asylum seekers through Human Rights Initiative. Dr. Eustaquio holds a Master of Public Health and is fluent in English and Filipino (Tagalog). Her professional interests include global anesthesia education and developing sustainable resources to support safe perioperative care in low-resource settings. Through her clinical, academic, and community experiences, Dr. Eustaquio aspires to become a physician leader who advances health equity, strengthens global anesthesia care, and creates opportunities for the next generation of diverse healthcare professionals.
