Dr. Babu’s interest in global health is born out of a deep personal conviction that each human being is deserving of dignified and compassionate care regardless of geography or socioeconomic status. In undergrad, he volunteered with a safety net clinic serving the Richmond, VA area. During medical school Dr. Babu was privileged to be a part of free clinics in rural Intibuca, Honduras and community-based care models in Bangalore, India. He is excited to learn about and participate in sustainable, culturally informed global health through BRIGHT.
