Mia Lang, MD
Biography
Dr. Lang has a longstanding interest in global health and caring for underserved communities. She led her medical school’s Global Health Interest Group, through which she helped establish a fourth-year global health elective in partnership with Floating Doctors. As part of the elective, she traveled to Bocas del Toro, Panama, where she worked alongside local teams to provide care in rural communities while learning to navigate resource-limited settings. Her commitment to underserved communities also grew through her work in Camden, NJ, where she held leadership roles with Cathedral Kitchen and Girls on the Run, supporting local families and youth through community service and programming. Through the BRIGHT Pathway, she hopes to continue pursuing global health opportunities and learning how these experiences can shape her work as a physician.
